Yours truly had a nice afternoon/evening.

First, there was an entertaining afternoon of TABOO fun. If you haven't ever played TABOO, try it. Yours truly likes the game precisely because it allows moi to learn more about the wavelength of friends. After all, the game forces us to describe words and one's association and choice of description reveals much about a person.

In any case, the game was followed by a great steamboat and desserts. Of course, there were alcohol (how can there not be?). A friend of *Starry actually bake a LINDT 70% dark chocolate tart. All present were duly impressed by the tart. More significantly, yours truly's mom *approved of the tart. High praise indeed for *starry's friend.

Anyway, we obviously had way too much food. *Starry had to bring back the cake she brought along, unfortunately. grimace. But really, there was no way we could stuff ourselves with anything else. Sorry, *starry, but gesture appreciated nonetheless. *grin*

Envious?

I would be too, that is, if I weren't present. smirk.

But hey, yours truly contributed the venue and the steamboat and borrowed TABOO from *peace, so moi's sorta entitled to be smirky.

In gist, nice Sunday night.

Perfect way to welcome *candid as my roommate for a month.
