"I am not a fan"

Not a convert nor a fan, but yours truly has been watching very slowly but quite steadily, SEX & THE CITY. Why?

Well, the slowly is because at times, the 4 girls are so so neutrotic and bimbotic that yours truly have a strong urge to roll my eyes and tell them to get a grip on themselves.

As for why steadily, well, other than the fact thta SATC is a perfect sitcom to watch during our all-females-food parties. It's also perfectly brainless but with some occasional good lines for down-with-a-cold moi to watch in bed every night.

Feedback on the sitcom from us girls, well, typically, the question centered on "which character did you like best" and "Mr B or Aidan". Very typical indeed.

No prize for guessing yours truly's answers. In some ways, yours truly is very predictable.

Yours truly had lunch with *Eccentric and we were *bitching as it was moi's "give it good for those who deserve it" week. If you didn't know, which surprises me, but yours truly can be quite the bitch when she wants to. Not as much as *candid perhaps. But good enough. So much as that *eccentric whimpers and says its scary to imagine herself on the receiving end of moi's anger. Fortunately for her, there is no reason why yours truly shld turn my anger on her. I get angry, yes. But I dun take it out on all and sundry. I give it good to the person directly.

Btw, CITIBANK took 3 months to send me an email with the CORRECT card no to activiate my GIRO platimium card. WTF! Despite my repeated phone calls. I hate to take it out on the operators but enough was enough. *stomp feets*

As for the publication yours truly is doing....let's not even go into it. Suffice to say, we pay a journalist and designer but end up doing everything...where have professionalism gone? *arched brows*

In any case, one of the topic we discuss was "alpha eccentric" and "alpha male". Of course, this is not new. After all, the topic of alpha male is rather done. But alpha eccentric. Tat's a new term, to us anyway. Question: so are you looking for an "alpha eccentric" or "alpha male"? Yours truly dun mind either. As if its tat easy to find one anyway. *deadpan*

Why did this topic come up? Well, bascially, yours truly was bitching about someone. *grin* And then started discussing about men and then got carried on to types of men. Surprisingly, some of my friends would actually prefer to settle with a strictly Beta type of men. Hmm.....*eccentric says she will go for beta with some alpha eccentric qualities cos a totally alpha male is too intimidating. *giggle*

But the real question is, if you can settle with an Alpha or a Beta. What is the real reason you select a Beta?

Not tat there's anything wrong with a Beta. In fact, some of happy couples I know are alpha-beta matches.

The answer to this question, would tell a lot about wat you really value in your significant other, I suppose.

But then again, every answer to every question will tell you lotsa things, only if you want it to and if you bother.

So maybe it is not the Q&A that we really need, but self-reflection?
